More seriously, data quality is a real issue for today's organizations. As Andy Bitterer of Gartner puts it, "there isn't an organization on the planet that doesn't have a data quality issue". But most organizations don't know how bad the problem is or where to start. An excellent first step is to invest in a data profiling tool such as Business Objects' Data Insight.
